Elizabeth Smith Jacobs has been teaching art for over twenty-five years and has been an exhibiting artist for the last twelve. She has a BFA from SUNY Purchase and a Masters in Art Education from NYU.

She has owned and operated The Clay Studio in Montclair since 1991. Jacobs is a mixed media artist who works in a wide variety of materials, from clay to photography, from metal to fabric, from cement to bones.
